Protecting someone is a strange business...

People can't get strong if you protect them from everything, but they can't survive if they suffer everything either...

And, why do people protect other people? So that the other person will be ok? So that they can feel needed and useful? So that they can have control?

Sometimes you can try to protect someone from the rain, and then they will want to step outside in it....
