One evening this year in Antwerp I saw a cardiac ambulance stopped on the side of the road with it`s lights flashing, at first I thought it was a car accident, but there were no other cars around. My boyfriend explained to me that probably someone was fighting for their life in that ambulance, considering it was so close to the hospital and it was so urgent they couldn't make it around the corner.
