Everybody has their own personal symbols, their favourites, the things that people remember them by. This painting is about involving someone's symbols into your life after they have gone, about the symbols becoming your own so that they don't disappear in the vacuum left by that person. It's about the little things that make up the symbol of a person, and the symbols that make the person.
